Tried Uncle Al’s for lunch today. The delicious lobster roll came with light, crispy fries and homemade coleslaw. We ate at a picnic table enjoying cool southerly breezes, overlooking the mouth of the St. George River and islands beyond. About as perfect a Maine moment as you can get.

This place is a hidden GEM. The scallop basket was killer. Super fresh, huge scallops, freshly battered, great fries, homemade coleslaw, $14. Like actually what? I have had scallop baskets that were literally twice as much and tasted half as good. Not exaggerating. Cute, quiet spot with an amazing view. The people working there were super friendly. Food came out quickly!! You have got to come here if you’re in the midcoast!

Just discovered this place. Really liked it. It's a food truck with a beautiful view of the water. Plenty of picnic tables and decent parking. Their blueberry coleslaw was the best coleslaw I ever had. The fried seafood and fried chicken dishes we ordered were excellent too. You could tell they were fried in fresh oil. The head chef was very friendly. It is also a dog friendly place too.

Excellent classic coastal Maine menu: lobster rolls, fried clams, fresh haddock sandwiches. And the view is amazing, looking down the St George River and out to Muscongus Bay. Lovely casual picnic table set up with plenty of room for kids to move around too!
